My introduction to the radio world came in the Vols '68-'69 basketball season as my transistor radio was always tuned to John Ward and the Vols network on 990 WNOX.
That was an exciting time for the BasketVols...Bill Justus, Jimmy England, Roger Peltz, Coach Stu Aberdeen, Bill Hann, Rudy Kinard, Dickie Johnston, Coach Ray Mears, and of course sophomore starting high post player Don Johnson.
