What would Jimmy Buffett do?

Bob Savage explains...back in 1980 on WNOX 990~

 Page 3-

George, I earlier send you a query about Jim Price, who I hired at 16 to do weekend overnights at WKGN in 1970. Crickets. Then, on Friday, I ran to Charlie Chase at a Nashville radio cats luncheon and remembered he and Jim had gone to high school together in Rogersville I asked him about Jim and replied, “You mean Jim Eldridge Price? Butch Price?” Bingo. I had pretty much figured Jim had died, but the details are a bit startling. Jim was working as an officer for the Morristown Police Department when he had a fatal heart attack at only 44. Chase was going by his own name, Wayne Bernard, when he worked at WKGN. He became Charlie Chase when Mooney Broadcasting sent him to WMAK.
