30 years ago today, December 2 1978, Ed Rupp sat behind the microphone at WIVK for the first time. On that Saturday morning at midnight, Ed teamed up with Dan Bell who taught Ed the WIVK board. The next night at midnight Ed did his first show (audio)...he followed me on the air that night!

What a treat...101 was dial twisting on the www on Monday afternoon and tuned into The Phil Show on WNOX. He had Ed Brantley and Bobby Denton as guests and they were talking about the good old days at WIVK.
