In the main WNOX air studio the board was on top of 4 Gates cart machines and in their production room there was an old Collins board that was over two turntables. When WOKI first went on the air (automated and all) the same type of board (Collins) as WNOX was on top of 4 cart machines. This may have predated Suitcase though.
