"Hi George...I've been following 101 for a couple of years now, but haven't, until now, checked in. I worked at WBIR for 2 years from 1965 to 1967 and then at WIVK from 1967 to 1970. Did 7 to midnight for awhile at WIVK and had a popular semi-regular "Love-In" show featuring positive country love songs (music to make love to). Many great memories of Booby, Claude, Ed, Ron, Kenny, Norm, Mike, Terry, etc. and the boss man, Jim Dick, of course. Doc Johnston was a great guy and a mentor. Also worked in Jacksonville and WQYK Tampa (morning drive). Was Operations Director at several stations and put an album-oriented country station on the air in Medford Oregon as well as Station Manager at a small market station in Texas. I'm retired from radio, but still working in sales in Bloomington Illinois but really miss K-Town." (Jack Hansen)
