Happy Happy Happy Birthday to Phil Williams!
I got my 3rd class license in the spring of '76 and was off and running, first at WBLC Lenoir City and then to weekends at WIVK! Around that time another teenager, a dapper Phil Williams, was also beginning to make a voice in Ktown....decades later, Phil is still going strong!
I remember Phil best for his early years at WNOX 990, then on to WIMZ as morning DJ, even teaming with Mike Beach for years, and now as a wonderful talk DJ for Dick/Citadel/ Cumulus!
Happy Day Phil...we are glad a local voice remains strong in Ktown!
PS...the foto, in case you slept thru the BCS game last night, is the Alabama QB's girlfriend, she was a big hit on the telly throughout the game!
