In late '80 the FM was cranked up, exiting an automated format to become Q94 with a country format. Some booming voices manned the microphone as the dial position attempted to play big league ball vs the frog.
Several famous Ktown names passed thru, either on the air or in a leadership position...Eddie Beacon, Joe Grant, Jeff Winters, Rick Hudson, Russ Brown, Sundra Thompson, Your Dave, Linda Scott, Ken Mynatt...
And over at sister WATO were Gary Wallace, Dennis Willard, and Mike Clark!
Rau Radio owned the stations.
