In early 1976 15Q entered the Knoxville airwaves, it didn't stick. In late 1976 WRJZ entered, it did stick.
From late '76 thru '81 WRJZ was a market leading Top 40 radio station, a country music format followed in '82.
The original afternoon DJ at WRJZ was Tim Edwards, he's featured here in the 101 Audio Vault~
