I just had dinner with Alan Sneed and spoke on the phone with Mick Rizzo -- we were all saying how much fun it is to read your blog -- thanks so much for keeping this going. I’d like to know if you could recall something. As a kid growing up in Fort Wayne, Indiana in the 1970’s, my sister and I would listen to our portable radio/record player that would pick up stations from all over late at night, and we used to listen to a station that we think was out of Knoxville. The first hour we would hear country gospel, like the Chuck Wagon Gang. The second hour it would be a country show with a theme song of Buck Owens’ “Tiger by the Tail.” I think the host was named Ernie. We would fall asleep listening to this show.
