More great stuff from Terry Ruth~"George..If Brian Stevens sends in the EAST TENN FORD radio spot, here is a pix you can put with it. They had 2 or 3 cars on the NASCAR circuit back then. This is the one year KING RICHARD PETTY drove, a FORD. Now they have started back this year. That back fender is the first thing I thought of when I heard Petty was back with Ford. We would go out to the dealership on Clinton Hwy to see the race cars. There would almost always have a... radio remote.... going under a tent with the broadcast fed through a phone line as I recall. Thanks for the memories."
