when I was about 15 I bought a custom mixer from Tom Kent who was the
7-midnight guy at WKGN. An engineer had built it for him when he was
just getting started. I think I paid $250 for it. I set it up in my
bedroom with 2 turntables. I even bought one of those low powered
transmitters that would broadcast about 200 feet. I got some out 45s
from the station and built my own station. Now you can start your own
internet station like Beach did!
