Today WKGN 1340 is a sports talk station...it's great to dial twist in to the station again, it was a favorite back in the early days when rock and roll was king!
The 70's saw Bob Baron and Wayne Bernard at the helm, followed by the influx of Your Dave Young and Mike Beach. By '75 the station was nearing it's end playing top 40 music as AOR and disco followed.
Dr Al returned in '75 as PD and drive time jock. Frank Erwin, Mike Beach, and Joe Anderson had booming voices there too.
The fill in/swing/weekend DJ at that time was Butch Brannum aka "David Todd" on the air. Here's David via the 101 Audio Vault~
